Now that you have a style in mind and a budget in hand, you’re ready to start talking to our florists. We meet up for coffee and talk. Of couse we would love to hear your love story too.
If you’re not sure what to talk about in the meeting, here are some questions that can help you figure out our working style:
- What’s the design process? A design brief? Do you want to just tell us what you like and let us do the thing?
- If you’re doing centerpieces, do you want us to use fresh flower or artificial flower, or both?
- Is there a delivery fee? Is there an oustation fee?
- What do we do if our florist can’t provide something you’ve agreed upon (e.g., if there’s a pink roses shortage the week of your wedding, what’s the backup plan?)?
Once we’ve agreed on a budget and design style, you’ll get a proposal (which, when signed, becomes your contract). This is important, because there are a lot of extra variables that can factor into the final product you receive on your wedding day. After receiving a deposit to confirm the contract, our florist will begin the fun part, bringing the proposal to life, from sketch and from scratch.
